How you can pay
Card payments are taken on Shopify's secure checkout. The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout; we do not display a payment badge for anything we cannot actually take.
Your card details are entered on the checkout and handled by the payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
When you are charged
The full amount is authorized and captured when you place the order, not when the parcel ships.
What appears on your statement
The charge will show under our payment processor's descriptor for this store. If you see a charge you do not recognize, email support@merryemporium.com with the date and amount before you dispute it - we can usually identify it within a day.
Currency
All prices on this site are in US dollars (USD) and you are charged in USD.
Sales tax
US sales tax is not included in the listed price. Where it applies to your delivery address, it is calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm.
Import duties
Duties on the way into the United States are included in the price. There is nothing further to pay when the parcel arrives.
Refunds
Refunds are returned to the card used for the original payment. We issue them within 5-7 business days of your return arriving; your bank takes a further 3-10 business days to post it. See Returns and Refunds.
A charge that failed
If a payment is declined, nothing is taken. Some banks briefly show a pending authorization that drops off on its own within a few business days.
