Size and Fit

The sizes we carry

Most styles on this site run Small, Medium, Large and 2XL. A few run a shorter set - three styles do not come in Small, and two do not come in 2XL. The size selector on each product page only shows what the supplier actually has, so if a size is missing there, it is not made.

There is no X-Large anywhere in this range. That is a gap in what the supplier produces, not an oversight on the site.

We do not publish made-up measurements

You will not find a chest-and-length table on this page, because we do not yet have measurement sheets we can stand behind for every style, and guessing them would be worse than leaving them out. If you want the chest, body length or sleeve measurement for a particular style and size before you order, email support@merryemporium.com with the product name and we will request it from the supplier and come back to you.

How to think about the fit

The product descriptions tell you how each style is cut - slim, regular, relaxed or oversized - and that is the most reliable thing on the page. A slim-fit quarter-zip is meant to go under a jacket without adding width. A relaxed or chunky knit is drafted to sit over a shirt or a thermal without pulling at the shoulder. An oversized jumper is cut wide on purpose and will hang past the waistband.

Layering

Most of the range is designed to be worn over something: a collared shirt, a plain tee, a long-sleeve base layer. If you plan to wear a shirt underneath a slim-fit style, that is what the cut allows for. If you want room for a hoodie underneath, look at the relaxed and oversized styles instead.

If you get it wrong

You have 30 days from delivery, we pay the return shipping, and there is no restocking fee. Exchanges for a different size depend on what is available at the time. See Returns and Refunds.
