Refund policy

The short version

You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to start a return.
We pay the return shipping - we email you a prepaid label.
There is no restocking fee.
Returns go to a facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia, not overseas.

How to return something

Email support@merryemporium.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and say which item you are returning and why.
We reply within 24 hours with a prepaid return label and the return address.
Pack the sweater in its original packaging, attach the label, and drop it off.
Once the warehouse has received and checked it, we issue your refund within 5-7 business days.
Your bank or card issuer then takes a further 3-10 business days to post the money to your account. That part is outside our control.

Please do not send anything back before you have emailed us - unannounced returns cannot be matched to an order.

Condition we can accept

If you simply changed your mind, the item has to come back unworn and unwashed, with the original tags still attached, in its original packaging. Knitwear picks up smells and pilling quickly, so an item that has clearly been worn cannot go back into stock.

If the item arrived faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, the condition rule does not apply. Email us photographs of the problem and the shipping label, and we will sort it out - replacement or refund, your choice.

The original shipping charge

If you paid the $7.95 shipping charge and you are returning an item because you changed your mind, that $7.95 is not refunded. If the item was faulty or we sent the wrong thing, you get the full amount back including shipping.

Exchanges

We exchange for a different size or colour subject to what the supplier has available at the time. Email us and we will tell you what can be swapped before you send anything back.
